Back when I was still single, every summer season excites me with planning out of town trips with friends and family to bask under the sun, dive into a pool and soak away.
Now with my own little family composed of me, my husband & a toddler in tow who I fondly call The Lil Dumpling (TLD), going out of town is not as easy as it was before. I worry about the trip itself on how long it takes to get to the place instead of relaxing during the trip. Another thing that bugs me is the food to eat because my toddler might not like the food since it's not her usual food. There are so many things to consider before going on a trip.
With so many worries in my mind, I've finally tried what people call a "staycation" at BGC's home of happy experiences, F1 Hotel Manila.
We checked in through their Premiere Lounge which is located at the 5th floor.

Upon entering our big beautiful room, TLD ran around and jumped on the bed! Lying down on a "starfish pose" she said, "I love this comfy comfy bed!" I right away knew that we were in the right place!

Since we checked in at 1pm, we didn't have lunch yet and before going to our room TLD was complaining that she was hungry. However, when we got in and she loved the bed, she started fake sleeping to convince us not to go out of our beautiful City Suite.

I just have to force her to go out with me as we had our lunch at F All Day Dining Restaurant where they had a Filipino-Mexican Spread which is offered every weekend (Friday to Sunday) during lunch & dinner buffet at PhP1,699 per person.

This is surprisingly my favorite from the spread. The squid was so tender & flavorful and the salsa verde just makes it more appetising that you'll be wanting to have more! |
Aside from the Filipino-Mexican food, F All Day Dining Restaurant still carried some International fares that are buffet essentials.

Just a few minutes before sunset, we were able to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. The size was just right and the water was quite clean.

After swimming, we saw that the Canary Lounge was transformed into a glamorous city camping set up. There was a grass-like mat on the floor with small tables & big pillows where kids can sit, watch the performer sings acoustic and the adults can feast on unlimited grilled dishes.
To give a feeling of outdoor, night-out camping, F1 offers Make S'mores Memories which is their chocolate and mallows in a skillet with cracker alongside as if you're in a campfire underneath the stars and continuously listen to the serenade until 12midnight.
With majority of the schools in Metro Manila having their summer break, F1 Hotel Manila offers their Summer Weekend Room Package for only PhP4,600 per night in a Deluxe Room and a stay in the City Suite is at PhP5,100 per night.

| TLD was quite sad when it was time to leave. Since F1 Hotel Manila is in the middle of BGC, it was very convenient to walk to Bonifacio High Street and our family loved it! |
From May 9 - 16, 2018, F1 Hotel Manila has a special Mother's Day Room Package worth PhP6,300 per night to spoil moms with a signature living experience which includes overnight accommodation in the City Suite with buffet breakfast for 2, one-hour in room massage for mom and PhP500 buffet credit voucher in F All Day Dining Restaurant.
