Gastro Park Infinity: The Hang Out Place for Unli-Stories & Food

Gastro Park opened its doors to the public last November 2015 offering millennial looking dishes good for millennials and millennial-at-heart. Like all places that serves food for multitudes of people, they had to renovate last May 2017 and re-opened on July 14, 2017 with an all new concept of unli-food for the hungry millennial tummies so now they're called "Gastro Park Infinity."

There are Instagram worthy angles inside the food park that fuels art and creativity for that millennial looking goals which will be nice for your Instagram "feed goals."
Enjoy your OOTD while swinging or standing in front of the galactic looking background.
Have a rebel or punk like look and emo pose in front of this neon lights.
Somehow the place transports one to feel like you're inside an uplifted image of a school canteen but without the school. The food being offered are all very affordable that fits in your high school or college allowance budget and the best part it, they have unli-food offers which a lot of the working millennials are looking for. Non-millennials are of course still very welcome here to hang out and enjoy how it feels like to be young and be feel-lennial (feeling millennial). Haha! :D

Here are the different food stalls which you can see in Gastro Park Infinity:

1. Tolyo's Soup N' Grill
The name of this place is obviously inspired by the name of the area "Kapitolyo" which is now a famous food hub where foodies can go for their food trip from one restaurant or even food park to another. Tolyo's as its name says serves different grilled meats with rice, soup and egg.

Their unlimited offer: Grilled Liempo (Pork Belly) for P249.
Tolyo's Soup N' Grill
As welcoming us bloggers to Gastro Park Infinity, Tolyo's prepared a special challenge for the bloggers invited to the event.
Sweet n' Heat BBQ
To the fastest blogger who can finish 2 sticks of EXTRA HOT Sweet n' Heat BBQ gets a special prize.
The Sweet n' Heat BBQ is made with Carolina Reaper.
Carolina Reaper is the hottest chili in the world so you can just imagine how spicy these BBQs will be.
Look at that big bowl of iced tea ready if ever we feel we can't handle the heat!
The EXTRA HOT Sweet n' Heat BBQs are ready!
This is my plate! I got to finish one but I can't eat the next one anymore.
Look at that large jar of iced tea!
There's my blogger friend Omar of Foodivities.com who is just chillin' after the challenge.
Tolyo's also showed us their very special Flaming Rosemary Garlic Bistek.

2. Tokyo Tempura
If you love Japanese eat-all-you can restaurants just because of tempura which costs a lot, better head on to Gastro Park because these tempuras from Tokyo Tempura are legit! The might be smaller in size of your regular favorite Japanese restaurant's tempura but they're pack in flavor and you can see the shrimp inside its crunchy coating.

Their unlimited offer: Tempura for P199. You heard it right! ;)
Imagine eating these tempura over and over again until what you think you have a bottomless pit tummy is filled up!
Aside from the regular tempura, they also have unique tempura flavors like this Salted Egg Tempura.

3. Metro Meat Express
The look of their stall is themed as a railroad train. They offer classic Filipino tastes with a gourmet modern twist. Meats are prepared fresh and grilled to perfection. Their best-sellers include Tanker Longsilog (which is their longganisa, egg & fried rice in a bowl) and Pinoy Inihaw on Sticks (BBQ intestines). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try any of their dishes since I was filled up with eating other stall's food but that's another reason for me to go back. :)

Their unlimited offers are:
1. Tanker Longsilog for P249
2. Crispy Bacon Strips for P249

4. Ball Shack
Fish balls are a must eat street food in the Philippines but Ball Shack brings it up a notch by offering not just savory balls but also the sweet type as well. Their bestsellers include Monkey Bombs (a deep fried hazelnut cream-stuffed bananas shaped into a ball), Wrecking Ball (mac n cheese balls deep fried and served with marinara sauce) and pikapika balls platter (a mixture of different types of balls in one platter).

Their unlimited offer: Fish Balls at P138
This is an order of Fish Balls which is served with different sauces. Honestly, I'm not a fan of it. I'd like the regular old type street fish ball. Haha! :D
However, not part of their bestsellers is something I think worth ordering. Well, it's not just because it's nice to look at but I love the concept of this cookies & cream ice cream which they call "Plant Ice Cream."
Isn't it so pretty? It tastes good too! :)
5. Brick Plate
This stall is American themed offering ribs, pizza & pasta. Their bestseller is their Baby Back Ribs.

Their unlimited offer: Pasta with your flavor of choice for P250.
Their Baby Back Ribs is good for 1. It's tangy, soft and flavorful.

Their unlimited offers: Gyoza with Misono Vegetables and Rice at P199 and Tonkatsu with Misono Vegetables and Rice at P289.
I tried a lot of dishes here since I love Japanese food which filled my hungry tummy. Since it was raining, I had their Sukiyaki.
Their Sukiyaki is on the sweeter side with small pieces of beef but with lots of glass noodles and a raw egg on top. It tastes like an upgraded Japanese version of your Lucky Me Sotanghon.
Look at those strands of glass noodles.
Enjoy this video of my Sukiyaki which shows the different elements inside that bowl of comfort.
For the love of sushi, I tried the Wagyu Roll which is very delightful! It's chahan rolled in nori topped with grilled wagyu cubes. After eating 4 pieces, I wanted more of it!
Wagyu Roll
I also tried the famous California Maki of Japbox. The rice in this one is too wet and sticky. I recommend the Wagyu Roll which is a lot better.
California Maki
11. Taipei Kita
This stall is like a playful rendition of the Filipino phrase "Type Kita" which means "You're my type." It offers Taiwan street food with dishes which the owner "types" for sharing to its guests. The meals here are both for sharing and solo meals. Their bestsellers are Fried Giant Squid and Torched US Beef Cubes.

Their unlimited offers: Fried Tofu with Specialty Sauce at P120
Torched US Beef Cubes

The best part of any meal - DESSERT - can be found in this stall. It offers milkshakes, ice cream on waffle cones / sugar cones, cotton candy sodas, ice cream sandwiches and monster milkshakes! Their bestsellers include Molten Lava Cake Shake, S'mores Shake, Cotton Candy Soda and Cookie Monster Waffle.

Since I wasn't feeling well during the time I was there, I skipped having their pretty monster milkshakes which I wish to try the next time I'm there. Just look at the below shakes. I got this photo from Gastro Park's Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/kapitolyogastropark/).
Don't they look pretty and so good to drink?
